Which are the best nightclubs in Brisbane is quite a subjective topic that depends on who you are and what you are looking for. If you happen to be a red blooded male that’s looking for the best clubs in Brisbane to meet girls, then you are in the right place. Below I’ve compiled a huge list of nightclubs, bars, pubs etc that should give you the most comprehensive list of places to meet single girls.

Prohibition Nightclub

This is one of the largest nightclubs in Brisbane. Huge variety of different girls from diverse backgrounds. This club has a range of different areas to meet girls, not just a loud dance floor. Prohibition has a large outdoor area with smoking areas too, both are great for having a conversation and building an emotional connection with girls.

X CARGO

I’ve heard that X CARGO is best on Fridays and the girls are of higher socio economic status. So, if you are looking for an educated, classy girl, this is probably the place for you.

The MET Brisbane

If you want to dance, this is the nightclub for you. I’ve heard these girls are wearing skimpy mini skirts, carrying glow sticks, dilated pupils and the music is hardcore trance, house, doof doof stuff. Kinda rave style.

Cloudland Nightclub

Three of the hottest girls I’ve ever met in Brisbane were telling me that Cloudland was the place to be and all their hot girlfriends go there. And if hot girls is what you are after, then I would recommend Cloudland.

Blackbird bar, Emporium Hotel & Maya Mexican

These bars are known for having high quality girls. Emporium hotel & Maya Mexican are both roof top bars that serve a range of high end cocktails. Check these out, but remember to bring enough cash.

Birdees

Apparently Birdees club is where the younger crowd tends to cut their teeth. If you are around the 18 to 21 yr old range, this nightclub is where girls that are your age tend to go (from what I’ve been told).

Ric’s Bar

This is more of a trendy/hippy vibe. From what I’ve been told, the girls here are into extreme left wing identity politics. It’s seems like a bit of a stereotype but lets go with it. If you are into girls like this, Bridees is probably the bar for you.

Kickons

Looks like smaller nightclub that is centred around the dancefloor. They have ”booth service” which seems to be bringing in more of an American hierarchical system into the Brisbane nightclub scene. This place is worthy of a mention but ranks lower than the others.

The Sound Garden

Is more of a mixed vibe, not the type of place you can just approach every girl in the venue without someone complaining. Mid week they have a range of different events and it seems like they try to attract more families. The problem is some families might decide to turn up on the weekend when your trying to pick up single girls and that could be a little awkward.

If you are looking for a bit of a mix between full on nightclub and restaurant/bar then this is the list for you. Try the venues all in red on the map above. These are the types of standard venues which are probably not the best spots to meet women, but I give them a pass mark.

Fortitude Valley (Brisbane’s Nightlife Area)

Fortitude valley is know as Brisbane’s nightlife area. If you are the spontaneous type, simply hit this area and wing it.

The Triffid (Live music events with Beer Garden)

The vibe in these types of venues are not the best for meeting multitudes of single girls. Perhaps the beer garden would be a good spot to strike up a convo about the musician that’s playing their gig that night.

I can’t imagine you having the ability to meet many girls during the gig though. This limits the amount of time you have to approach single girls.

Press Club (live music and cocktails)

Limited common areas to meet single women.

They have luxurious booths that you can book for functions which is a huge problem unless you are invited to these little parties. The booths look great but it does section off the people within this group from the rest of the bar. These booths can make it difficult to meet the single girls within these private parties.

The food and cocktails look quite expensive too, not to mention the live events seem to be of the band variety which attracts an older demographic.

Crowbar Brisbane (Heavy metal music)

Dress in black and expect a venue with more men than women.

They host heavy metal music bands. So expect to be surrounded by a mostly male venue, which is already a bad start if you are looking for single girls. The male to female ratio is pretty bad.

Furthermore, the types of girls that would attend this type of venue are most probably covered in tattoos, piercings, drinks beer, she likes the colour black and is of lower socio economic status.

Black Bear Lodge (Small Cocktail bar)

Small cocktail bar that has a relaxed vibe, it’s dark and opens relatively early, around 5pm. Maybe worth hitting early in the night, milking it for what it’s got then moving on fast. Their website isn’t currently working, we only have the facebook page for you at the moment.

Maybe go in for 1 hour, get a drink and meet a few girls. If you don’t meet a girl thats keen to chat with you, move on to the next venue fast.

The Foundry (Update – Closed down and relocating)

Fortitude Music Hall

This is a huge concert hall that can fit over 4,000 people, if you want volume, here it is. The trick would be to choose an event that girls like to attend, to make sure that the male to female ratio is in your favour.

The Zoo (Live Music)

The Zoo claims to have the ”BRISBANE’S FINEST LIVE MUSIC VENUE” but a quick look through the list of acts, to be honest I didn’t recognise any of them. Not that this is important, you are out to meet single girls. The bands look to be quite alternative and all the photos I found online were mostly men. Perhaps you should wait for an event to pop up that girls would like to attend and try this venue out.

The Trivoli (Live music gigs)

Not as large of a venue as the Fortitude music hall, the size is more comparable to the Triffid I’d say. When I went through their social media and ”gig galleries” I noticed a higher percentage of gig’s that attracts women in their late 20’s and 30’s maybe 40’s.

If you are a guy in his late 30’s at least, perhaps this would be a venue where you could meet some girls. By the looks of this place, I wouldn’t go to this venue unless I’m in my 40’s to try meet girls in their 30’s. Or use the same strategy as all other venues and look for gig’s that girls would prefer to attend and go along to meet single girls.
