In case of Divorce

Marriage is for two people, who wish to spend their life together. So, it’s not just okay, it’s good to marry a person, even if he/she is a divorcee. All that is required is mutual love, respect and trust.

You can proceed for the big day, if;

You willingly forget that the person is a divorcee. You can convince your parents and relatives. Ensure will support him/her and not let anyone remind of their past. You’re sure you won’t ever feel superior and think you sacrificed something to marry a divorcee.

Also ensure you don’t see them inferior for their past. You won’t relate any situation to their past. Be it an argument or a disagreement, never cite their past. Never be too possessive or insecure, falling prey for thoughts like ‘’the person can leave you someday”. He/she will know the value of a relationship. So, if you are willing for the above, you can go ahead and marry a divorcee.

Religion and Ethnicity 

Religions are made for the guidance of human beings. Most of the religions in this world do not allow any one (men or women) to have sex before their marriage, strictly in Islam. There are many reasons that is why religious leaders and scholars avoid that act before marriage. You can watch their videos on YouTube. We can’t underestimate their facts and concerns on this matter. 

Western Modern drawbacks

The problem is that in the West we are pretending that men and women are the same creatures with the same opportunities when it comes to sex among heterosexual people.

(Some men do that because they hope this will make women like them and therefore they will get laid and women do that because it creates an environment where they can have sex with as many people as they want and still be able to get in a white dress and have all the benefits of a monogamous relationship). 

Till now we were discussing about marriage. Let’s discuss about dating. Just dating a girl having high body count doesn’t matter because no one is going to accept her for marriage. If she has done all of this just for fun.
Lets discuss what will happen if you are going to accept her for lifetime.

Emotional Connection

According to the female construct, a woman will not give herself to another if she does not love, trust, or feel secure in the person. A lady may still have feelings for one or two of the people she has been involved with. This is why most women cheat on their current partners with their “exes.”

Even though sleeping around is business for the lady, it does not negate the fact that emotions do come into play at some point. This makes it difficult and, if not addressed, becomes a problem. 

Blackmailing after Marriage

Blackmail: In some cases, partners return to threaten women who have moved on with their lives. This is especially effective if the lady has kept her previous relationships hidden from their current partners. If the pressure becomes too much for them, they will cave, especially if the person blackmailing them has evidence of their exploits, such as sex tapes, pictures, or chats.

Insecurities. Break-ups are usually unique to each individual. For some ladies, constantly moving on to a new partner is simply to replenish their emotional bank, to compensate for the ones they’ve been bankrupt of.

Maybe their partner was verbally abusive to them, and it rubbed off on them, causing them to lose their self-esteem. This is because people (particularly women) value the opinions of those they care about.

My Opinion

Assuming you’re talking about the tradition that says you shouldn’t have sex unless you’re married?

Originally it served two general purposes.

· As long as you made sure the woman was a virgin when she married, it guaranteed you know who the father was. This mattered for inheritance, since only men mattered.

o This is also why it’s never been as important for men to be virgins.

· People noticed that those who had sex with more partners were more likely to get sick. Before we understood why, “abstain until marriage” was not terrible advice from a perspective of safety.

Fast forward to modern times, and neither point is relevant anymore.

· Men are no longer the only ones who matter for the purpose of inheritance. Women can own property and wealth, they can inherit such from their parents, and they can leave their own to their children.

· For cases where you do need to establish paternity, we have simple and easy tests to do this.

· We understand how disease works. You can’t catch an STD by having sex with someone if neither of you have the disease. Testing is safe and easy, protection is safe and easy, and those who are educated can easily ensure they keep themselves safe.

I have no problem with individuals choosing to wait until they’re married to have sex. I think it’s a mistake unless both individuals place absolutely zero importance on their sex life, something it’s virtually impossible for them to know unless they’ve actually had sex (which they cannot have done), but that’s their business.

I think traditions which tell people they must wait until after marriage to have sex are carrying on ideals based on the inferiority of women and a complete lack of understanding of science. Some try to repurpose those ideals to be nicer and more ethical, some don’t bother.

 I dislike such traditions intensely, but in general still think about this as “their business, their call.” (Side note: I’m generally more willing to give credit to such traditions if they do not eschew proper sexual education…. but I find that’s rarely the case. Such traditions are often eager to ban sexual education, because if you’re suppose to wait until you’re married anyways, why would you need to know anything?

And if you don’t wait, well, that’s your own fault.) I absolutely detest when people try to force this viewpoint on others. This EXPLICITLY includes religious people who preach or evangelize. You live by your faith, I’ll live by mind. If you don’t like what mine says, too bad. If you want to try and deny me the right to live by mine, we’ll have problems.
