This beautiful coastal Queensland city has grown in popularity as a party hotspot. Australia’s Gold Coast nightlife is well-known for its long, sandy beaches.

Thousands of visitors visit the seashore every year to celebrate at one of the many world-class nightclubs on the Gold Coast.

Bobs Beer Bar Gold Coast

BOBs is a magnificent three-story white-washed brewpub that commands the bustling corner of Elkhorn and Orchid Avenue, its copper sign blazing forth like a beacon to thirsty patrons.

Ryan Fullerton, a former Red Duck, Clifton Hill, and Bad Shepherd brewer, is in charge of the brewhouse, so you know something excellent is brewing.

BOB’s in-house craft beers are all made with care and attention to detail, with an emphasis on quality and locally sourced ingredients.

What’s more, their food is actually outstanding, so you’ll want to order a round or two of crispy lotus root chips to soak up all that beer.

Hyde Paradiso Nightclub Gold Coast

With live DJs setting the vibe, Hyde Paradiso is the ideal venue for Sunday sessions and long meals that continue into dinner. This is the place to go if you want to spend your summer in Europe without having to travel.

Hyde is well-known in the United States, and this is his first trip into Australia, so expect to be spoiled.

This restaurant and bar combination, located on the second level of Peppers Soul and overlooking the beach, channels the colors of the Mediterranean, specializes in sharing drinks, and is a standout among Surfers Paradise’s greatest drinking venues.

Duke’s Parlour Club Gold Coast

‘The Duke’ Kahanamoku, the founder of modern surfing, was one of the first to promote wave riding in Australia, so where better to pay tribute to his legacy than in the heart of Surfers Paradise?

This gloomy pub, which is located beneath The Island boutique hotel, exudes chill.

Shoot pool while relaxing in a leather chesterfield, then order specialty drinks or choose from a vast list of gin, whisky, and tequila, all of which are complemented with wood-fired pizzas and live music on weekends.

Duke’s Parlour is without a doubt one of the nicest new bars in Surfers Paradise.

Surfers Paradise Beer Garden

Surfers Paradise Beer Garden, which reopened following a multimillion-dollar facelift, makes full advantage of its ideal location on popular Cavill Avenue.

You’ll enjoy this Surfers Paradise rooftop bar, which features a retractable roof that invites the beautiful sunshine and sea breezes inside, as well as on-trend white and wood paneling, nautical decorations, festoon lights, and picnic tables with umbrellas.

Order a drink and take a seat at the Birdwatchers Bar, which is a wraparound deck with sinkable seats and tables that overlooks the palm trees and Cavill Avenue—the ideal spot for people-watching.

Elsewhere Bar Gold Coast

Other than that, Elsewhere isn’t your standard Surfers Paradise nightclub. In fact, you’ll probably feel like you’re somewhere else’ when you’re there…do you see what they’ve done there?

This hotspot is a center of alternative electronic sounds, a Saturday Night Fever-style dance floor, and lovely hipsters, and is loved by residents and visitors alike.

It’s not uncommon to watch a small-time DJ perform live for $10 on the door one night, only to see them rule the EDM scene a year later. Without a doubt one of Surfers Paradise’s coolest bars; check it out if you like that vibe.

Steampunk Nightclub Gold Coast

The owners have gone all out with the Steampunk nightclub theming, making them a top choice among the best bars in Surfers Paradise.

Expect cogs, piping, and machinery gauges, as well as antique clocks and post-apocalyptic gas masks, industrial fans, magnificent period leather couches and lamps, and exposed globes, all set against a copper-colored bar, walls, and flooring.

Steampunk’s cocktail list, like the eccentric theming, is far from ordinary, with oddities like The Foolish Howler bar served with a stick of red licorice and the Giggle Blimp garnished with musk and pop pebbles.

The Avenue Bar Gold Coast

The Avenue, a GC institution in the center of Surfers, is one of the most iconic venues in the world. From the avenues beginnings as one of Australia’s first nightclubs in the 1970s.

The Avenue has benefited from a multi-million-dollar makeover (and a move across the road) to bring it back to the right side of modern—while maintaining all of its excellent vibes.

Its lively atmosphere ensures that you and your friends have a great afternoon, but not at the expense of truly delicious food: think oysters, entrees, gourmet burgers, charcuterie platters, spaghetti, steaks for dinner, and salad, all washed down with plenty of drinks.

Asylum Nightclub Gold Coast

Asylum is a unique nightclub that offers an immersive and interactive experience complete with cutting-edge lighting and acoustics.

Asylum, a shelter for errant psyches and wayward types eager to party late into the night at one of Surfers Paradise’s finest nightclubs, is located among the excitement of Orchid Avenue’s bar district. Asylum is the ideal place to dance till your feet hurt and drink until it’s time for kebabs.

The Clock Hotel Gold Coast

The Clock Hotel is not a hotel at all, but rather an entertainment hub in the middle of Surfers Paradise with three pubs on three different levels, each with its own distinct vibe.

On the basement level, the Sports Bar is a dedicated TAB and gaming room with 10 plasma TVs to watch all of the biggest sporting events.

The Street Bar Gold Coast

The Street Bar, located one story up, is a laid-back afternoon hangout perfect for groups of friends looking to relax and catch up. Patrons are seated at huge, timber counter-style six-top tables amidst modern design in a warm color scheme of olive, gold, tan, and brown.

They can also keep things casual and take a seat at the bar. Finally, a lovely roost for sunset beers and cocktails is the lounge bar on the balcony level.

From the wallpaper to the gold plated timber trims and back-lit onyx marble bars, the lounge’s gloomy, intimate ambience has a strong Asian undertone in its design. For a beautifully comfortable, intimate date spot, settle into one of their booth chairs with velvet drapes.

Skypoint observation Deck Surfers Paradise

To the 77th level of the Q1 Structure, the world’s tallest residential building, take one of the world’s fastest elevators. The Skypoint Observation Deck, a sleek and elegant watering spot, is located here.

The sophisticated location is all glass and silver, with cutting-edge furniture and a sharp dress code to match.

When compared to other Surfers Paradise drinking places, the ticket entry price is exorbitant, especially because the facility closes at a respectable 12am.

The elegant atmosphere, breathtaking views, and weekend DJ and live music entertainment, on the other hand, make for an appealing package.
